I am interested in the the same thing, too! Is there any documentation?

Well, I am lost.

You will likely find documentation for this at api.kde.org, under the section "kdebase"

Konqueror plugins seem to be actually KPart::Plugin objects (i.e. KHTMLPart or KWebKitPart plugins), so the relevant documentation is found at http://api.kde.org/4.x-api/kdelibs-apidocs/kparts/html/index.html. There are examples of Konqueror plugins at http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/extragear/base/konq-plugins/. It'd be nice if someone wrote a TechBase tutorial to show how to get started...
