Here i will explain how to install adobe air in Linux. this really helped me a few time ago. In only 5 easy steps you will enjoy adobe air.
[size=large]Download[/size] 1* The first step is to download the latest adobe air version from the official site. (actually versions for Linux are in beta) - Open the followed link with your favorite browser http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/air_linux.html save it in the desktop ------------------------ 2* Now open the Terminal ("Applications > Accessories > Terminal") and continue to the installation ------------------------ [size=large]Install[/size] Put atention because the next steps are the harder so to speak. 3* Go to the directory where you've saved the Adobe AIR installer. example. (/home/darphas/Desktop ): And write in the console the next line. (remeber to change Darphas for yours)
Test if your installer file is located here write in the console the next line:
should be appears a file named "adobeair_linux_b1_091508.bin" ------------------------ 4*Before starting the installation must be make the file executable. Write in console this.
Ready. then you can start to install adobe air with the following line.
if you have problems with the last step. write sudo at the beginning. And congratulations you have passed the harder step. ------------------------ 5*Now Accept the Adobe AIR license: -You will need the admin password. Then -Adobe AIR is now being installed. -You finished and now enjoys adobe air. |
