							Hi,

Does KDE come with any kind of an FTP application installed by default? I am running the Centos 5.5 distro with the KDE standard install. Thanks. |

You can use Dolphin for it.

								Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11

FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

I don't think there is a standalone ftp specific ftp gui client for KDE 4 if you need something more full featured than Dolphin (or Konqueror) there is filezilla (minimal added requirements), gftp (requires various Gtk libs) and you could look at FireFox extensions

As it hasn't been mentioned, you can access a FTP server in Dolphin by clicking an empty area of the breadcrumb bar - which will cause it to switch to a url bar. Then you can enter a ftp:// url in there.

It's rather old distribution so you can use Krusader (from KDE 3 or KDE 4, does not matter) or specialized KFTPGrabber.
