Since attempting to install a script to run at startup my kde doesn't work anymore.
From a cold boot I go straight into the kde startup screen then the regular kde desktop. After that, any icon clicked, is imediataly minimised and thats way it stays. I think (from memory) this is a result of puting a script file in ./kde/autostart/ but since I can't access it I can't be sure. |

How about moving your current $HOME/.kde/ elsewhere so you can start again?
You can also remove your script from autostart in a command line since you can do all file related actions in tty1
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Thank you for the advice.
CTRL+AALT+F8 took me to tty ls -a to find hidden files then rm do delete the file I added. Back to normal! |
