Dell MediaDirect dual boot

Sat Jun 23, 2012 2:45 am
I have a Dell MediaDirect (E1505) laptop. I want to set it up for a dual boot, but where the mediadirect button brings up Kubuntu and the power button brings up XP. I have the hard drive set up and the OS on both partioned hard drives. Now I am trying to move Grub over to the partition where Kubuntu is loaded and reset the MBR, but it is not working. When I open up a terminal, and type in the "grub" codes, it either tells me that there is no such file or command or that I don't have permission to move Grub. Any help will be much appreciated.

According to Google, http://forum.notebookreview.com/dell/18 ... utton.html should get this working.
