I can't seem to find any information on this, but I am wondering if it is possible to build all or part of KDE using a commercial Qt license. We have a Qt-based app that we would like to hook into Dr. Konqi for crash reporting, but we are not sure that we link to the standard distro-rolled KDE libs.

In terms of "Is it possible?" - you probably can link KDE components against commercial Qt libraries.
However - legally, you may have issues. Apart from kdelibs/kde-runtime (I think) the rest of KDE is licensed as GPL2+, which may present problems for your software.
