Help with world of warcraft with ubuntu natty naw? kde
i have ubuntu natty naw i also play wow,,,i was playing in windows 7 but try to use ubuntu,,mu question is...i have bought crossover i also have wine installed,,my problem is when i was playing in windows 7 i was getting 70fps when in wow now with ubuntu i only get 7 fps i have all my display drivers updated ,,i just need help with this also all my game settings are on low and still cant get any fps i dont want to go back to windows 7 or anything microsoft

try turning off composting while playing alt+shift+F12 and playing fullscreen

Such a large disparity would suggest to me that you aren't running the proprietary drivers for your graphics card. Without those you aren't going to get good 3d performance in WoW. Have you installed them or are you just using the open-source drivers that come with Ubuntu by default?
