Oxygen theme for Wine

Fri Apr 05, 2013 2:25 am
I would like to make a conversion of the Oxygen visual style for use with Windows applications running under KDE via Wine (or VirtualBox with Windows XP as the guest OS). This will require quite a bit of time for me to complete, so I'm trying to gauge if there would be enough interest among KDE users for me to possibly do it as a project on Kickstarter. What do you guys think? Is this something that you might be interested in funding? I would probably set a pretty low price point, say $500 to account for the time it would take me to do this, but I'm open to any suggestions at this point. I have already worked out a system for converting Oxygen's widgets into pixmaps with proper transparency/shadows, which is how I created the Oxygen-Molecule theme prior to the emergence of oxygen-gtk as the official method of theming GTK apps in KDE.

Anyway, I just thought I'd put out a few "feelers" before starting this project, so any feedback is welcome.
