I don't see a /home partition, you can't create a user's directory using kuser or adduser under /home if it does not exist

well i done fresh install yesterday made 3 partions

1)=swap
2)=wifislax root boots [this is wher wifislax is installed on
3)= blank partion wich i want my non root home

so realy i only want to boot off no.2 partion and use 3 as my working directory so i dont keep messing my root file system up like i been doing for months then have to do reinstall all time

I wonder if maybe this is not meant to be a multiuser general usage distro but a single user, single purpose distro and that's why there's no default /home being created

what you need to do is to mount /home on /dev/sda3 but you need to do it outside of /etc/fstab (unusual) using /etc/rc.d/rc.local or sysvinit scripts if you want to mount/unmount drive and for that you should ask on their forum.

I would also point out that what's displayed on their home page is KDE 3.5, do you really want to be using 3.5 instead of 4.10?

I have no idea how you would do this though I assume the use of soft links (ln -s), maybe try the Slax forums and documentation as I assume wifiSlax is a derivative

you could also post a thread on a Slax'ish forum asking how to mount a /home partition when one isn't automatically generated

ps - would you consider tunning something a bit easier to use and set up?

why do you think it's the best? to me it seems to be specialized, not general purpose and not with a large user base

if you're hooked on a Slax derivative why not use straight Slax I would guess it has a larger user base and therefor you might get more responses to your questions. At least try the Slax forums and documentation if you keep using wifiSlax

there's a partitonmanager module you can dl and run, using that to create /home might also provide the means to have it automatically mounted at boot (or not) WRONG - thinking of openSUSE's partitioning tool
