I know....you guys know all about this and the old woodsmoker is just behind the times.

But, say, for instance, in Korganizer, calendar, that I have an appointment on Tuesday from 2 - 3.

When I had to change the time, I just deleted the 2 - 3 appointment and made a new one, say, Monday from 8 - 9.

Just the way I did it, never worried about it too much.

Well, today, I had to do just that, change the day and time of an appointment.

For the Halibut, I clicked on the appointment and DRAGGED it to the new time and date! :o

HOW COOL IS THAT!! ?? ;D

Now, yes, I know, the gentle denizens of the forum all know that but ...I didn't.

I learn something new about KDE on a regular basis.

Kubuntu really is the reason that I was able to go completely Linux, with the exception of a crossword making program, and a test making program that I have to use for teaching and that only completely run under MS.

Kontact has been completely functional, for moi at least, for several years now. I use Kwriter/presenter (now Calligra) extensively for my teaching work, the plasma gui is very efficent for grading online submissions, "en masse" ... it all just works.

AND NOW....add in KDE connect! :D File transfer, automagical notifications to the computer that the cell phone's battery is low, almost effortless, a few clicks, setup! !! :D

I just LOVE KDE/Kubuntu! ^-^
