WOW. I never expected a response so fast, much less the actual comics. Thank you so much - you have no idea what this kind of developer response means to users. I wish more of the tools I used had people like you working on them. So hats off to you, good sir, hats off to you.

Thanks!
![]() You cannot compare writing a comic plugin with other tools though, most comic plugins have less than hmm I guess 50 lines. If the websites "fit" well then it is pretty simple and basically most could write that by looking at the plugins already available. Some are harder to create though.

Thanks for all the info and sorry that it took so long, but there finally is a comic provider for bash.org.ru though it has some problems right now. Here the cyrillic font is not correctly shown probably I have to modify the dataengine code. Additionally I'm thinking about adding the original irc-part to be shown as context info. Edit: Ok, fixed the font problem. I'll backport it to KDE 4.2.1 once the branch is open.

I am working on Order of the Stick and The Battle for Gobwin Knob myself right now, so don't do those after all.

Would it be possible to tell us what comic engines you are currently working on at any given time? That way other people can start working on other comics without duplicating effort.

Currently I'm not working on any comic other than the ones I already published --> adding stuff, fixing stuff etc.
I'm also working on the comic plasmoid itself atm. I agree that posting what we work on is a good idea for coordination. I'll do that before I add some new.

Another comic for anyone who wants to work on it: Digger
Also, is there an example source file for anyone who wants to take a shot at making their own? I can't seem to find a source link on kde-files.org |

Here is a link to a tutorial: creating-comic-plu ... 29950.html
Additionally the .comic files from kde-files.org are ziped files. So you can unzip them and look at the source.
