Sometimes I would like to stop Reconq loading a page becuae it is taking too long.
How can I stop reconq loading a page? Thnaks

You should be able to use the stop button (which takes the place of the reload button) to do this. It is located in the toolbar, to the right of the forward button.

My Rekonq has a green reload curved arrow at the top right hand side next to the tools button.
To the left, I only have the back and forward arrows

While the page is being loaded the green arrow is changed to a red cancel symbol (and the hint tells you that this action button stops the loading). This behavior is known from former Firefox versions. I miss it in their current release.
