I wanted to say thank you KDE. The software you make is awesome.

Thanks to the people creating and maintaining activities, virtual desktops, window management and plasma shell in generell, I can structure the use of my machines in a way I did not experience with any other interface yet.

Thanks for the fantastic editor that is Kate, its simple interface allowed me to use it from the start, its extensibility make it still my main editor today. The same is true for Dolphin, simple to start, powerful when needed (kio, git, …).

Thanks for RKWard which was already around when there were few useful R-IDEs and which even today with the strong competition from RStudio provides the superior experience to me.

Of course, the list of KDE software I use and am thankful for is much longer, but I have to stop somewhere. So thanks again, you rock!
