Has anyone else encountered this issue where Geany works (I haven't found an equal in KDE's suite, feel free to suggest your preference) but has this horrible gray redmond-style theme to the window elements (not talking about the text highlighting)? Were you able to fix it or do you know where Geany gets its theme preferences from?
Thanks for any help. |

Could you provide a link where you got that theme from?

FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Geany, being a gtk-based app, uses the gtk settings, which should be accessible under System Settings -> Application Appearance -> GTK.
As far as near-equivalent KDE-based apps, Kate comes pretty close. It doesn't aspire to be the near-IDE that Geany is, but it does provide a lot of the functionality that you would expect from a programmer's non-IDE editor.
