Can KDE please include Veromix as the default mixer in the GUI? It is far better than the current simple mixer and works much better with the KDE multimedia settings, especially when using multiple inputs and outputs.

Veromix is the only solution. It must be default in KDE 5 Plasma desktop.

The current mixer (kmix) is mostly just annoying with its current features, knowing that Veromix exists.

Veromix can't run on Plasma 5, as there are no Python bindings: it would need a rewrite in C++/QML.

Ok. I more meant conceptual wise to change kmix to have the same kind of features as Veromix. Its just one of the very few things I can fault the otherwise quite perfect KDE desktop with. The mixer is not adapted to modern use, like Veromix is.

I would try it myself if I could, but I can't.
