Tracking and fixing Chromium save -dialog bug

This thread ended 2 year ago with no apparent resolution.
I just set up Debian with KDE on chroot using Crouton on Chromebook. The Chromium browser is unable to download anything because of the kdedialog box crash that prevents a dialog box from opening. Was a solution posted elsewhere? Thanks. |

How about stating your exact Plasma version and distribution first? You do realise that using a 3 year old thread is not exactly helping, we need exact descriptions of your system in use. AFAIK Stretch for example is not shipping the latest Plasma version.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
