I've been using Kubuntu since 6.06, tried many others, always gone back to Kubuntu.
I think Kubuntu 12.04 is going to be the best, most stable so far. This probably has as much to do with KDE 4.8 being the best most stable KDE 4 |

With KDE 4.8 they all work well. At the moment I'm running Sabayon, which is quite zippy, but also have openSUSE 12.1 and Arch installed, all with KDE 4.8.2.

Chakra, I like that it is part rolling release with the core not being updated as often as in Arch in order to be more stable. Also, Adobe flash can be run in a bundled version of Firefox or Google Chrome without having GTK installed. However, It's not for those who want a bunch of GTK apps, a mixed DE distro is better for them.

openSuse, easy to use and configure and it steps aside when I want do my own stuff. Means no distro hogwash.
