Manjaro Linux is on the #5 position of distrowatch and it has two flagship desktops: KDE and XFCE
But it's not mentioned in this list: https://community.kde.org/Distributions I think that it would also be a good idea to include KDE neon in this list: https://neon.kde.org/ |

If Manjaro wants a listing they can add it, and ensure that the links and information remain current. Same with neon, although neon does not define itself as a distribution. By the way, the desktop is KDE Plasma. KDE is the community, and it would be good if distrowatch got that right. |

Thank you very much for the reply. Technically, a distribution is any deployment of software and isn't specifically Linux. And a Linux distribution is an operating system made from a software collection, which is based upon the Linux kernel and, often, a package management system. I know that KDE neon "is only interested in KDE software", but it's a linux distribution.
The desktop is not "KDE Plasma" but "Plasma Desktop" : https://www.kde.org/workspaces/plasmadesktop/ And it was smart nor useful to rename KDE to Plasma Desktop. Just a completely pointless name change that most Linux users don't want to adopt. I would like to see it officially renamed to KDE again. And for the sake of communication I only use the term KDE. |
