Selection box on desktop like cinnamon

Hello I switched from windows to linux recently and I really can't get use to this "static" desktop feeling. I cant select items I cant move icons and I cant create new document on my desktop. Is this possible to do on plasma-desktop ?? More dynamic desktop like Windows ?

Right-click on the desktop → Add widget → Folder view. Then right-click on the desktop again to open its settings and change the layout mode.
