Hi all I m new to linux and kde. Incubator project might attract new users and developers. It would be nice to send a incubator proposal to many popular QT5 programs and projects. Just a kind post to their forum or a mail to the core contributors. I dare to propose to have in kde programms even a second alternative for a task for example a popular QT5 disk burner or music player. I hope Incubator doesn t force anyone to close it s homepage, github or forum, it s a migration step by step. Also a few apps in kde dont have developers what about proposing a new program that would replace it.I would like to ask this process forces every app to use all kde libraries frameworks. Is not possible a program to accept the incubator procces but to want to use some of it s own sotware-libraries. Beware unity 8 will use qt5 deepinOS and some others smaller. it also would be possible to invite some small programs(even understuffed or not popular) to merge with our kde programs just like lxqt did. Some thoughts i know it s a huge task but devs are needed possiblly some new users will migrate also.
