Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum but it saved tons of my time quite a few times, so thank you in advance for your support =) u guys are life saviors!!

I'm experiencing a weird issue in OpenSuse 42.1, here are the steps to reproduce the problem on my machine:
• Installed opensuse 42.1 from scratch, everything works ok
• Installed Qt 5.5.0 from offline installer as a super user (default installation path: /opt/Qt5.5.0/5.5/gcc_64/)
• After rebooting doesn’t work complaining with the following message:
could not start d-bus, can you call qdbus-qt5?

Anyone has experienced the same issue on this configuration? I’ve been digging into numerous forums trying a multitude of solutions but it appears no one has gone through similar issue. At least not with OpenSuse 42.1 and Qt5.5.0.
A temporary solution was to comment “export QTDIR=/opt/Qt5.5.0…etc” from /etc/profile, and the Qt Libraries Path from /etc/ld.so.conf, but I cannot leave this portions of file commented forever. Expecially the ld.so.conf line for dynamic libraries link

Why did you do that?

Leap 42.1 comes with Qt 5.5.0 by default, but it has been updated to 5.5.1.

Applications and libraries (and in particular Qt's plugins) built against 5.5.1 may not be compatible with 5.5.0.
