OK, so I use Antergos 64 bits and today I ran an update, after it was done I tried to update again in case any package had failed to download or install, pacman said there was nothing to do, so I shutdown the computer, after 30 minutes or so I turn it back on to see that I can select my user account on KDM, but I can't input my password, it's as if the textfield wasn't even there, so next I pressed ctrl+alt+f2 to see if it was my account the one that was corrupted. however I was able to login no problem, I installed gdm, but before I try to change my display manager I want to try and fix KDM, however I have no idea how to do it, any ideas?
SOLVED: It appears it was a bug because this morning I ran a general update on my system, reebooted and I could login just like nothing happened |
