KDE installations on 2x seperate SSD disks - UEFI error

I've installed KDE Neon one a SSD drive for using kdenlive only.

Hard removed SSD and installed Neon on another SSD for general use.

Later on wanted to boot from previous kdenlive SSD (other not connected) and then it was non-bootable.


Is there anything with UEFI I'm missing here, shouldn't this be possible?

when you install information is saved in nvram, use "sudo efibootmgr -v" to investigate. Obviously also poke around in bios/boot screen.
