Hi all,
Been using KDE in the form of Kubuntu since 12.04 after abandoning Windows (yuck) and all of its related problems. Been a happy Linux user and have just discovered KDE Neon when looking for a small footprint OS for my wife's netbook. Turns out that Neon won't boot on her netbook and I can't resolve it (sysctrl.conf loading issue). So I put Linux Lite on it and it works great and she's a very happy camper (she doesn't like Windows either). But after playing with Neon on her netbook, I found I really like the concept - small footprint, fast, current KDE interface, Ubuntu 16.x base, and it lets me start basic and just add the software I need/want to customize it the way I like. This is what Kubuntu should have been! ![]() Anywho...here to learn and help as I can...be gentle with me...LOL |
