Hello everyone,

I am trying to work on an assignment, concerning the creation of artwork.
After toying around with Krita I bumped into a wall concerning the following issue :
using the outerglow filter on a layer, as well as trying to recreate this effect with custom blurs creates banding, even when I'm working in 32-bit depth colorspace.
Am I missing something or is the way that Krita processes these effects of very low quality?

Here is an example image.

Krita is not KDE software - you might have better luck in a Krita forum or site.
