Ubuntu switch to Gnome

Thu Apr 06, 2017 8:55 am
It would be great if ubuntu adopted KDE instead of gnome as default. How the community help do that. Maybe the KDE E.V. might push in that direction. The Ubuntu developers worked with QT5 for some years in unity 8. The technology is great QT ecosystem flourishes. Linux Deepin is very popular and also uses QT5. Is it to late to change that decision. I think yes and i think the main reason is the small number of developers in comparison with GNOME that s backed from Red Hat. Also MATE transitions to gtk3. Please KDE e.V and community do something take action really i dont know how. In you tube and floss sites KDE seems to have a momentum.Thank you for your time i think it s an oportunity hurry up
