KDE Neon on Acer Aspire E15?

Fri Mar 09, 2018 6:53 am
I'm in the market for a laptop I can dedicate to running KDE. I'm looking for a model that has good driver support for things like WiFi and the trackpad. It's going to be exclusively KDE, not dual-booting Windows (even if Windows is pre-installed).

I'm looking at the Acer Aspire E15, model number E5-576G-5762. You can see the exact unit at Amazon - http://a.co/hQV8w0h

I plan on loading it up with the Neon Developer Edition, as I'm working on becoming a regular contributor to whatever KDE projects will have me.

I know Neon is Ubuntu 16.04 underneath, but I'd really like to hear if anyone's running this machine or knows about the compatibility.

Thanks!
