I'm new to linux so bear with me and my plethora of unsolved problems

Problem #1: When I do
Code: Select all
$ lspci  | grep -i vga

Intel integrated graphics are all that show up (I also have a Nvidia MX150). I've done research and can't find a solution.

Problem #2: Whenever I shut down my laptop, it just spams me with kernel BUG: soft lockup - CPU stuck for 23s!
So i have to just hold down the power button to force shutdown (which probably isn't a good thing). I found one thread where someone replaced their power supply and it fixed it but im on a laptop so I'm kinda lost as for what to do here

all help is greatly appreciated
