Removing a Package that wasn't fully installed

When running the sudo apt-get update command, I came across the following:

W: GPG error: http://linuxthebest.zzz.com.ua/zvvonlinetv xenial InRelease: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 23080E6DA9206B5C
E: The repository 'http://linuxthebest.zzz.com.ua/zvvonlinetv xenial InRelease' is not signed.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.

I just spent over 2 hours trying to sort this out. The package is not showing in Discover, and I also tried to remove it by doing the following:

sudo add-apt-repository --remove ppa:http://linuxthebest.zzz.com.ua/zvvonlinetv/Cannot add PPA: 'ppa:~http/ubuntu/ppa'.

But I got this error:

The user named '~http' does not have any PPA

Can someone help me, please?

You shouldn't need to prefix the url with 'ppa:', but instead use:
Code: Select all
sudo add-apt-repository --remove http://linuxthebest.zzz.com.ua/zvvonlinetv

If that doesn't work, the repository files are stored in /etc/apt/sources.list.d. You should be able to remove the file for the offending repository (with sudo)
