It seems to me that one factor is how much memory your computer has. I don't know how Neon does in older computers, but if it works well, it might be suitable for Neon because the hardware tends to have less memory.
But I speak as a novice who is still familiarizing myself with Linux, so my knowledge is still limited. I've used both, though currently using Kubuntu which I believe maybe more powerful, but Neon, I would have to say is still a pretty damn good OS. If you just do what most people are using macOS and Windows do, both Neon and Kubuntu will serve you well. |
