As I mention in the title I decided to drop KDE Plasma Desktop, available now on one desktop and one laptop.
I have more than those two, one is used by my mother from some around 2-3 months, and the laptop just bought one-two weeks ago.
Resons that i dropt KDE Plasma desktop remain usability.

If you can run easily scripts, if you can use easily SSH I consider this not a Linux desktop, neither a a desktop for my mother.
Maybe some developers here listen what I say.

1. Is not possible to run a shell script easy like in Ubuntu Mate desktop (That I used from some years). I search for solution, all solution is shi...ty than on Ubuntu Mate. That execute button run the script in background, but you now I load a lot external drives that are encrypted so I need to provide sudo possword and encryption password. I don't really know for what is this button used to execute, but no possibility to configure it. The second option is Right click select Action from menu and after run in Konsole. So more clicks and on the script end Konsole does not close automatically, so extra ctrl+shift +w. So if I can run a script on a linux desktop this is not a Linux Desktop

2. Is not possible to run a ssh connection easily . So I have to use a workaround to be able to use different keys with different names on different PC to authenticate SSH connection. On Ubuntu Mate, no meter if I use Terminal, Filezilla, Remmina, Unison,.. authentication for ssh is automatically, it just search my key automatically, it does not mater what name I used on it. Workaround is to put the key manually in global ssh config on /etc/ssh , but if I have two users with two different key name ... sooo If I can't use easily ssh on KDE Plasma desktop, this is not a Linux Desktop.

3. The last one that it decide me that I should drop this desktop is inserting and using SD card, is not automatically mounted as it is in Ubuntu MATE, I try even manually and for some reason I was not able to change permission of files to be used as a regular user not root, so not investigated more, So I ask myself how my mother should use this if I struggle to used it... If you cant use easy an SD card in 2019 this is probably not a ready desktop. My mother use SD to take down picture from her travels, so before coming home It should have back Mate desktop.

I try for some time to convince myself that that desktop might worth it , but every time I return to it to give it a try, I realize that is not ready for my main systems.
Things run good day by day this desktop is improved, but I observe that the focus is on things not very usefull like notifications,.,.. and basic staffs does not work on this desktop, or maybe no one from KDE community run scripts from the desktop, use ssh or SD cards, just couple of months ago we have default CTRL + ALT +T on terminal so on my previous test I spend time to get it how to do it. this is the basic command of a Linux desktop, but you know KDE is not a Linux desktop, maybe it will be next year. Until then Ubuntu Mate is fantastic, Even Lubuntu with LXDE just have better usability regarding those... I like the speed of this desktop at lest Dolphin run extremely fast comparing with Mate Caja, design is modern, ... this desktop have a potential...

It's a shame to create a login just to announce that you aren't using the product you are complaining about. Though perhaps that is because you care enough to see these things improved.
Insofar as you care about feedback on these issues you might consider opening separate topics to discuss them as these issues aren't without solutions.

1. When you run an executable script it will run the script using bash (or whatever you've configured for running scripts) in the background. I'm not sure what Mate (or rather Mate's file manager) is doing, but it appears that Mate is set up to open a terminal window for interacting with the script. In my experience of running various desktops, if you run a script from the file browser most/all will just run the script in the background without opening a terminal window for them.
You can set up a separate shortcut for the script which you can configure to launch Konsole as part of running the script by navigating to where you want to create the shortcut, right-click -> Create New -> Link to application. Fill out the various details in the dialog that pops up; in particular there is a Run in terminal option under the Application tab in Advanced Options.

2. I'm curious about how you are invoking ssh differently between Mate and KDE. If you are just using the ssh command that should be no different between the two desktops. If using the ssh command works on both systems but using ssh from the file managers works differently for some reason please include such details so we can figure out where the problem is.

3. I've heard this issue discussed occasionally before, but haven't explored what the nature of the problem is. I would recommend you do a little more research, perusing the older forum posts to see what resolutions were reached. When you insert the SD card does it not pop up with options to open the it in the file manager and can you not use the file manager to browse it, or is the problem specifically that it doesn't mount it to the file system so you can use other tools (such as a backup script) to work with it?

The modern Linux desktop operating system is far easier to use than you might expect. It includes the apps you need, a level of reliability you require, and added security you probably aren’t accustomed to.
