I have 4 suggestions
1 have a page of suggestions on the site, easy and intuitive this will facilitate the basic user to be contributing to the project the page can organize suggestions in ranking for others to read and like, the most liked ones tend to be good ideas to consider 2 notify when the battery is low (like 15%) 3 having an accessibility program for the blind that does not have that annoying synthetic voice, most programs on other systems and even the android have a more humane you that do not irritate the ear if you listen a lot 4 have a way to download drives from other systems. (I say that because I use a PC with a touchscreen that doesn't have a drive for it, and the touch ends up being useless) until you have a page of suggestions you can use this created for this |

That's what KDE Brainstorm is for in this forum: viewforum.php?f=83 Keep this to one suggestion per post, else it will be impossible to handle. For existing applications feature requests should be made to the bugtracker https://bugs.kde.org, marked as a wish.
You can set notifications in the System Settings. My system by default informs me when the laptop or the mouse battery go below a certain threshold.
The KDE Community is volunteer based, so we need volunteers to improve this.
Hardware related things like drivers are usually handled by the Linux distributions, which we are not. Also an application needs to be optimised for touchscreens, which is a bit flaky with the X11 system, it should get much better under Wayland. Hope this clarification helps.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
