On a new Ubuntu 20.04 I've installed kubuntu-desktop (just like I did ever since ubuntu came out). It turns out to be plasma 5.12
However, I cannot find /usr/bin/startkde. I am logging in using xrdp, so sddm is not the way I start my x session. It used to be .xsession contained "startkde". What is it now? In other words, how do I start kde from the command line? |

Hi!
They are named startplasma-wayland and/or startplasma-x11 now. |

hallelujah haven't they heard about backward comparability? Why change something that has been there for over 10 years. Add, don't change. well... |

There was a backwards-compatibility until Kubuntu 18.04, and with KDE 5.17 the old name was removed afaik.
