I run win-11 and kde-neon on a partioned hdd with dualboot,
everytime when win-11 makes updates, my dualboot is disabled, even sometimes such updates access my BIOS and disables "1. boot kde" this is not only done consciously by microsoft, it is insolet, perky, audacious. it's a matter of sink or swim. are such interventions into my system reasonable or legal and acceptable? |

Interesting, that doesn't happen on this laptop at all.
If Grub is installed correctly I very much doubt any software update can change the settings. Maybe recheck your Grub installation
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
