i cant render a project as keep getting error message after crash

using version 22.08.3

am trying to edit old vhs quality video that i saved on hard drive of our kids growing up to then burn to DVD as a present for my wife.

i tried to remove the first blank/ snowy type image at beginning of video
i then use razor tool to divide at correct part and delete it, then slide the tracks back to zero on timeline, set new in point and then razor section i want to render and set out point
when i then select render after setting destination file and render selected zone it starts then crashes with this error message

Rendering of H:/Video to DVD project 2022/Video to DVD project 2022/Caitlin Oct 95 pt 1.mp4 crashed

[mp2 @ 0000019217dacc80] Header missing Current Frame: 4, percentage: 0

any help gratefully received
