Hi KDE Friends,

SCALE (http://www.socallinuxexpo.org) is back in Southern California on March 9-12, 2023 at the Pasadena Convention Center. This will be our 20th year running the event and we hope you can join us.

We are a community and volunteer run Linux, FOSS and DevOps event held each year in the Los Angeles area. This year we have keynotes by Ken Thompson (creator of Unix and Go), Arun Gupta (Intel and CNCF), and Kitty Yeung (Physicist and Artist). As usual the KDE community will have a booth in our exhibit hall.

We have over a hundreds sessions on everything from open data to free culture, systems engineering, security, DevOps, databases and more. Whether you're using open source at work or at home on the desktop we have something for you.

Along side SCALE, you can also pop into DevOpsDay LA (https://devopsdays.org/events/2023-los-angeles/welcome/) or join the Kubernetes community who are running KCD LA (https://community.cncf.io/events/details/cncf-kcd-los-angeles-presents-kcd-los-angeles-at-scale-20x/).

KDE community members can get 50% off registration with the promo code KDE50.

We hope to see you in Pasadena.

Cheers,
Ilan
