switching KDE to Qde

Mon Feb 02, 2009 4:32 am
for some weird reason I feel so strong about it I had to make it a thread.........sorry!
Q presents the same sound yet needs to be followed by u to be viable...so that
would create less confusion in some cases....maybe a lot of confusion would be
alleviated......MOST importantly Q is Qooler something about all these KKK's gets
redundant and annoying....nothing personal I otherwise prefer and like QDE (as
opposed to gnome)..........Q rules!!!!!!!!!!much more uniQue attractive and of
qourse QQQQQQQQQQoooooooooLLLLLLLLL. I vote for and insist on Q! Qde;)
waddaya think!
cheers,

KDE cannot switch to QDE for the following reasons:

1) They will have to rebuild community awareness
2) KDE sounds much better than QDE
3) Qt Desktop Environment does not represent what KDE provides, also there are a number of Widgets in the K* C++ Namespace that would conflict with Trolltechs.

>>>well it is obviously an arbitrary matter and I obviously disagree...
Qde is more appealing to me...yes and about reb...community awareness
well duh..wot is hard about that...change is for the most part better there
s nothing healthy about being a stick in the mud esp in this enviroment,
nothing! the supposed conflicts are minimal and the change could be made
merely with macros...paths and code referance neednt be effected...MY only
regret is not taking the pole seriously..............
