YDL has KDE3 in its repository. this thread has instructions for getting KDE4
http://www.yellowdog-board.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3013&p=11347&hilit=kde4#p11347 Ubuntu Intrepid (alternate installation CD) works on PS3, and it has the kubuntu-desktop package (kde 4.1) http://psubuntu.com/wiki/InstallUbuntu Open Suse 11.1 installs on PS3 and comes with both versions of KDE http://en.opensuse.org/PS3 KDE does not run any software (.exe or otherwise). It is a set of applications. Linux doesn't natively run .exe applications, though many can be run in WINE. If you have a specific windows program you want to run, check to see if it works in WINE. Last I checked, WINE doesn't work on PPC.

The ability of KDE to run executables ( *.exe for Windows ) is dependant upon the underlying Operating System. Wine ( winehq.org ) is available for UNIX ( Linux, *bsd,, Mac OS X ) to run Windows applications.

I can't wait for the day Wine runs everything.
