Plasmoids in browser could be an alternative for Flash, Silverlight, etc. What do you think about this idea?

At least I once read some developer blog posts about this and saw a screenshot of the clock widget inside firefox. Afair there's a netscape plugin for this in playground somewhere. current KDE projects: Quanta, KDevelop, Kate
