kde and gnome libraries

Mon Mar 02, 2009 7:49 pm
I was reading an article a while back on osnews.com and one of the comments about the new qt license and that it was compatible with gnomes, and that kde can now make use of gnome libraries.

My question is, how does this effect kde and is there a want or need or will kde even bother with gnome?

KDE has always been able to use GNOME libraries. The change in Qt license would allow GNOME to use KDE libraries ( however, that can't happen anyway, because GNOME is C, while KDE is C++, which is a superset of C )
