inspired by which KDE theme is better I've decided to ask which plasma theme is best.
I have my own theme which I will selfishly put in poll even though it's not the best.
Other are selected among most popular themes on KDE-look.

• Glassified
• Aya
• Slim Glow
• Elegance
• Arrrezzo
• Oxygene
• Bare Naked (my theme)
• other

Provide reson why and if voting for others specify which and give link to it's KDE-look site.

I vote for Tragedy

One of the only themes I've found on kde-look that doesn't suffer the weird
masking/border issues on the tooltips and extenders when composite is disabled.

BTW, I don't really see the point of this topic since kde-look has the rating mechanism.

I didn't like any of the themes available, so worked a little bit on my own. The only thing I finished and am pretty happy about is the taskbar, which looks like this:


(Run Command is the active window and the forum page has the mouseover)

None of them are best, none of them are worst. Perhaps the poll should have asked what themes are most popular.

Yes I thought about adding it, but AFAIK Air looks much better on KDE4.3 then now on KDE4.2. As 4.3 adds new things to plasma theme-vise.
Yes I know that kde-look has it's rating mechanism it's just intersting to see if there will be same results here as there.

I agree, it's more in sense of which you think is the best.

I must say it look really good.

I would prefer the dullest, non-glossy, non-distracting theme which would be aya but it is still too distracting for me

Air looks pretty neat in Trunk.
4.2 Glassified is very nice it isnt that "hard" everything lookes smooth dunno how to describe. =)

What about Bare Naked. It doesn't distract you in any kind of way as it's completely transparent. You don't even know that there is a plasma theme .

Arezzo was discontinued now, but it's really good. Oxygen is good but I'm bored from him.
Glassified it's too transparent, so, I prefer eleonora or air.
