I always run yakuake, kmail and kopete. I read that many of you starts all the kdepim apps but not the kontact suite. Is there no need for kontact? Or is it unstable or are features missing?

None KDE Applications are Firefox instead of konqueror (there are still too many issues). I'd rather use konqueror. And emacs. But I think I will never stop using it ;)

Cheers. m

Its just that i started them everytime w/o Kontact because i actually neednt the whole app just Akregator or Kmail and Kmail isnt even used everytime so i dont need kontact open ...maybe i switch later to Kontact since it could improve everythin with notes and etc^^

Kate, Konsole, Kmail, Korganizer, Krunner (couldn't live without it) and Amarok.

I use Kwallet as well and don't find it annoying. The Korganizer authorisation dialogs for remote calendars with pre-filled credentials from an open wallet are somewhat annoying when the reminder daemon is running though. It would be nice to not see them when it accesses a wallet and successfully gets the password entry from said wallet.

Plasma, Dolphin, Kopete, Kontact (with everything in there, including KMail, Akregator, Calendar, Todo, etc), Konsole (running irssi all the time, with random other tabs for command line stuff such as emerging, browsing, or rtorrent).

kalarm - do all my personal schedualing, reminders and daily backups using it, one great but under appreciated app that's pretty light weight.

plus - konsole, kate and a konqueror

OpenSuse Leap 42.1 x64, Plasma 5.x

Plasma, Amarok, KDEtwitter plasmoid, Yakuake, kopete(though I have no real contacts :P), ktorrent, k3b

I also find that kde wallet in 4.1.* isn't half as annoying as it was in 3.*.*
