Just want to squee a bit

Sat Oct 18, 2008 4:51 pm
I've got KDE 4 (on Kubuntu Intrepid beta)! And everything works! Well, except Akregator, which boud says I should run in the KDE3 version like he does, but that's to worry about later.

So far I love it, but then I already discouraged Dolphin last time around and have konqueror as default file manager.

Now to discover how activities and folderview work (any tips to get started?)

Looks easy, and would be extremely useful, if the Kubuntu version I've got hadn't been crippled simplified, according to my other half, "because nobody uses that anyway". He can do it, but he has OpenSuSE. We're now trying to get backports and upgrade to see if that does anything.
