No, for web browsing (and mail / usenet client) I prefer seamonkey.
(As filemanager I use midnight commander, or (very rarely) krusader.) |

I use Konqueror mostly, but when something doesn't work I use Opera or in some cases Firefox

I voted 'No' because I can't surf Konqueror smoothly like Firefox due to http: error which happens randomly and sometimes the website won't rendered completely. I have no http error with Firefox but this happens all the time with Konqueror. If any of you know how to fix this random http hiccups, please do tell me because I love to surf the net with Konqueror and Firefox is just not that well integrated with KDE.
If there's no random http hiccups, I would definitely vote for 'Yes' even though that some websites are not well rendered (I can use backup browser for that). |

with KDE3 yes, with KDE4 no. Flash and Java support is critical for me.

I try to switch to it every now and then but there's always a show stopper. For instance, today I was trying to use it and for some stupid reason it wouldn't let me type in random text boxes or text entries. No matter how many times I clicked to select the box, it wouldn't type in it. Happened on 3 or 4 websites and I finally gave up and went back to firefox.
Then of course I can't get flash to work in it. And I'm too used to typing random things into the location bar and having the browser do google "I'm feeling luck" search (firefox feature). I can't get used to typing gg:

Just as a sidenote, konqueror has this, too. simply type
into the location bar. Or you can activate this in the search bar with "select search engines" and then tick "google - i'm feeling lucky". |

You can just type anything into the Konqueror address bar and have it search for that. in Konqueror: Settings > Configure Konqueror. then expand "Web Browsing" and select "Web Shortcuts" there should be a drop down box "Default search engine" which can be any of your web shortcuts ( Wikipedia, Google, Youtube, Google lucky, etc. )

I want to use Konqueror full-time instead of Firefox, but there are a few things that keep me from switching over:
1) I need a Cookie button. 2) I need something like the Adblock Plus Element Hiding Helper. 3) Konqueror stutters and freezes a lot. If I try to go to Youtube, for example, Konqueror freezes for about 3 seconds before loading the page. 4) It's slower than Firefox.

A Cookies button does exist. You just need to add it. First add the "Extra Toolbar" by right clicking just beside the "Help" menu. Then right click on the newly added toolbar, and select "Configure Toolbar". In the drop down select box find "Extra Toolbar " Add whatever buttons you desire from there. Then click apply, and ok. You will probably find the toolbar got removed, so add it again.
You may also want to switch the toolbar to icons only mode. once again, right click on the toolbar, Text Position > Icons Only.
