The KDE3 has global menu as default feature.
The upcoming GNOME2 will have global menu as default feature.

KDE4, well, it is possible to have global menu with Bespin style, but what if we want the default Oxygen style?

Will this simple feature come as a option with the default KDE4 style?

I don't like being forced to use Bespin just in order to use the global menu. Will this feature got included in Oxygen style?

Unfortunately I believe a developer for the style itself is currently lacking, which is meaning that not many changes are being done to the style except minor bugfixes by others.

I don't know about Oxygen, but the Xbar can now be used with QtCurve as well - which IMO look (by default) quite similar to Oxygen. Note though that currently Qtcurve needs to be compiled using a special switch to enable the xbar/globalmenu.
