Kubuntu & KDE 4.4 RC3 problem

Hi,
I'm new to this forum. I'd like to ask for your help. I recently installed KDE 4.4 RC3 on my Linux Box (kubuntu). When I start the computer KDM doesn't appear. I just see a message reporting the following error: "Impossibile aprire il file tema "/usr/share/kde4/apps/kdm/themes/ethais" This is a localized string, it means that it's not possible to open the theme file /usr/share/kde4/apps/kdm/themes/ethais I listed the content of the directory /usr/share/kde4/apps/kdm/themes/ethais, follows the output:

you have got installed next alpha kubuntu release lucid lynx. I have got a same of you since last update (yesterday). but me, I'm using lucid under virtualbox for test only... install kubuntu 9.10, it's more stable... and wait 4.4 final (you'll can install it from ppa after  )
