kde.org website

Wed Feb 17, 2010 9:50 am
Hello,
This post is not about KDE software, but about kde.org website. I'm sorry if it is the wrong section to put it in - if so, please move it where it belongs.

I have a simple question:

Will doesn't the kde.org website use the html 5 video tag instead of flash videos?

I believe Flash videos are used for maximum compatibility with browsers as the HTML5 video tag is still new.

Also, due to the high volume traffic generated by Videos, external hosters need to be used and none at this time offer HTML5.
