Hi. I just have a quick question of curiousness. In X, when you have two screens, and ones larger then another you can hide the mouse in the void above the smaller one, so you can no longer see the cursor on either screen.
ASCII ART example ___________ |VOID|----| |----| 2 | | 1 | | |----|----| notice the "void" above the smaller screen 1. This frustrates many people, as far as I can tell in Google (but none of them were using KDE as far as I know) I was just wondering if KWin or something provides a workaround for that, to prevent the cursor from going off into the void. (before I brainstorm it, as I was not able to get two screens working on my laptop...) Thanks. |

This is likely caused by usage of Xinerama, which merges them to create "one screen" to applications.

Please follow these instructions:
http://aikesommer.name/site/blog/200909 ... ible_areas I have been using this for a long time and it works very well. You will need to add it to your autostart programs if it works.
