How to remove the back menu next to the desktop icons ?

Two ways. With the widgets 'unlocked' just mouse over and off of the displayed widget. If you never want to see the pop-out configuration menu on displayed widgets, then lock widgets so they can not be modified until you unlock them again.

You can easily remove the desk icons with just from the desktop settings as per your requirements and there in KDE another option of plain desktop that is also working. Try it will help you out.
