KDE v3.5.10 hogging CPU even when idled?

Hi!

you are kidding, aren't you? KDE 3.5.1 is very old, why not try at least 3.5.9 or 3.5.10?
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

2% CPU is a problem? Well, wait till u see KDE4
 give "powertop" a try, probably some device gets pulled or generates strange events. |
